BWR Grade - IS:303
During manufacturing of BWR Grade Regal ply, certain preventive and
corrective measures are taken to improve quality, like using selected
hardwood veneers of uniform thickness and liquid PF Resin conforming to
IS 848:1974. Special preservative treatments insulate the plywood
against the attack from termites, borers and other wood pests.
Made from quality wood, the plywood undergoes superior quality phenol
bonding. Also, these plywoods confirm to ISI standards. Tropicalized,
ideal for kitchen and other moisture-prone areas, BWR is a special
quality combination of imported and Indian Veneers-bonded together to
create a sturdy ply - that is totally boiling water proof. Special
attention is also devoted to chemically treat the ply against termites
and borers.
Stress-relieving processes by use of superior grade hardwood &
other production processes augment the antiwarp properties - keeping
the product stable throughout its life. All tests in conformity with
IS:303.
